K2 Has Helped Me Beat Marijuana Withdrawals

Well its been sixteen days into my experiment to see if K2 summit incense could help ME beat marijuana withdrawils and it actually has. The other benefit is I don't HAVE to smoke K2 everyday.

If I buy k2 incense I no longer have have to worry about getting arrested. For some people, that is not a big deal. Getting arrested would crush me. I don't have to worry about drug tests at work anymore either.

Anyone else out there try this?

  1. I am trying it right now. I think it's important to not just substitute k2 with weed, because it is new and there are a few reports that it can also have a withdrawal symptom like for weed. If you can manage to smoke around a half gram a day or less for the time period of your weed withdrawal symptoms I think you'll be good.

Here's my question though. THC withdrawal is still controversial but there is solid proof that it does have some kind of physical effects, even if they are psychosomatic. If you don't believe me check out the uncommon knowledge addiction forums. Hundreds of people having a hard time quitting weed over there.

    Anyway back to my question:
Weed takes so long to get out of your system because it stays in the lipids(fats) of the body for up to 3 months. I have read reports that you can get a buzz off k2 by putting a pinch in your mouth, like dip. Can't do that with weed. So it seems that k2 does not bind to lipids, begging the question... does it have as long of a withdrawal as weed??

No matter. Right now I am thinking it's better to smoke some k2 for a couple months to break a 9 year habit. Just taper the k2 down and don't quit cold turkey, that seems to be what makes the symptoms worse.

Note though, that every profile of k2 withdrawal has been of a user who used 3 grams(one pack) of k2 a day. I use 3 grams in about a week.

  2. Seeing that you posted this in march, how's your experience been? Stayed off the bud?? Did you try quitting k2 after you quit weed?

  3. Just did a little more research for anyone who happens to be interested in K2 and synthetic cannabinoids.

I have read 3 or 4 cases of people having severe hallucinations, bad physical conditions, and in one or two cases, ongoing problems from this drug.. IN VERY HIGH DOSES.
The one thing they all had in common was that they were using pure JWH-018 powder they ordered online, and not a smoking blend mixture. I would stay away from pure JWH, though it is cost effective, it's difficult to measure into the 1-2mg dose apparently. And sometimes, the same stuff they usually get is much stronger than usual. Stickin to the k2 for now.

If you have used K2 as a tool to quit smoking, let's hear it.

  4. I've tried K2 and it was mellow. Texas Gold was probably the most 'weed-like' experience I had. Voodoo Magic was a bit much for me. I definitely liked Moe Joe Fire. Texas Gold was my favorite. Super, super mellow, no after effects and certainly no hallucinations. A lot better than drinking for relaxation. No hangover. There is another blog where someone reviews herbal incenses, k2k3texasgold.blogspot.com. I get my K2 and Texas Gold from herbalaxation.com and they've always been reliable and stuff.

  5. I have talked to many people that have tried K2 - all recently. The common finding I had was that most people said that K2 was not as good as marijuana - so they often didn't smoke it for long or often.

I am curious, do you still use K2 now? Have you really swapped from smoking marijuana?

  6. Yes and now I am trying to quit k2, it is not as good as mj but you can get used to it, especially if you can't smoke mj for whatever reason.

There's a DEA ban but there are so many cannabinoids, they are still at gas stations etc.

The best new "Post-Ban" incense I've tried was called k4 supernova, loved that stuff. Can't find it where I'm at now though.

  8. I want to preface this by saying I have never had addictive problems with any drugs or alcohol. I'm here to tell you right now, through my own personal experience. You DO NOT want to go through K2, or whatever brand it is withdrawal. If anyone has ever been addicted to opiates or heroin, from what I've read and heard from people who have been and loose acquaintences, I would liken the withdrawal from regular use of K2 and similar products to be very similar. NIght sweats, rapid heart beat, insomnia, appetite problems, diarhea, stomach cramps, depression, chaotic mind, NEEDING that fix, the feeling that you're scraping against the walls. I started slow but then I started picking up 30 and 40 gram amounts of the stuff, eventually smoking it all day or whenever I could, not noticing the side affects until it was too late. There is more than THC going on with these products. WIthdrawal SUCKS. I haven't smoked the stuff in a little over a month, and am stil having sleeping issues. Best advice I can give is to not treat these products the same as you would marijuana, because that would be a giant mistake, especially if you have a job you have to show up to everyday.

  9. this is absolutely moronic, what the hell is a withdrawal from weed? Your body does not become physically dependent on THC over time. Take it from a guy who smoked everyday, multiple times a day for two years. Then had to abruptly stop because I got put on probation. Did I wanna smoke? HELL YEA I did, but did I ever once feel any other effect from not smoking besides the desire every now and then? HELL NO....hmmm wonder why? ooooo o yea its because fucking cannabis does not over time cause your body to become dependent on it. You guys are a joke and should stick to smoking pot and never speak of this to anyone again. Their reaction will be the same as mine, so you can thank me.

  10. be careful with the synthetic stuff - my husband is suffering k2 withdrawal right now. been going on for a month. he was smoking every day - more and more for about 6 months. when he realized that he was losing a lot of weight (40 lbs) and throwing up every day, he stopped. the dr told him that they are seeing more and more withdrawal symptoms with k2. he was so sick the first week that he asked to go to the hospital twice, but then got paranoid and wouldn't leave the house. after the first week of taking valium from the dr, he started to get better, but during the 2 and 3rd week, he would suddenly get sick and throw up several times before he would feel better. he is now in the 5th week and still losing weight - no appetite. worse thing he ever did was smoke k2. he should have known because his brother tried it once and ended up locking his self in the bathroom for hours and crying that he didn't want to die and leave his kids. so far my husband has lost about 50 lbs.

  11. Just want to give you a little warning. I also started smoking k2 to get over the withdrawals of weed. And just like you, it did help. And just like you, I felt i had more control as I didn't need to smoke it every day either. Well a couple months go by, and my tolerance has increased a lot. I have to smoke more to get high now and more often. Not only that, but I actually CRAVE the drug. Both mentally and physically. If I don't smoke it for a whole day, I have no appetite to eat, I can't sleep, or concentrate, and I have horrible anxiety. After about two days of not smoking, I can't get out of bed because I feel so sick and I have spent the whole night in the bathroom throwing up before. Quitting weed is really hard, and it really sucks, but I can GUARANTEE you quitting k2 is a hundred times harder. It is both more mentally AND physically addicting than ANYTHING I ever experienced from weed. You're gonna regret this when you're addicted. Oh, and you can still get in trouble with the law for this shit. Unless you live in a state where it actually is legal. Because where I live, it IS sold in stores and gas stations, making it seem legal, but if you were to get pulled over for it, it is considered an illegal drug. Maybe you live in a state where that doesn't apply, but I doubt it, you might wanna look into that. Think about what you're doin

  12. I've got to warn people about this stuff. I tried it to take the place of weed. It grew from 2 packs of Mr Nice Guy a week to a pack a day. This drug is a beast that will sneak up on you. It is NOT like weed. Withdrawal from weed is mild and mostly mental with some agitation for a couple days. It you smoke the synthetic stuff regularly then try try to quit that's when you really see its true face. If I went a day without smoking, I'd get nauseous, vomit, start sweating, loss of appetite. So I smoke to calm down the withdrawal. After I developed a black tongue (yes, my tongue actually turned black) and noticed I was really turning into somesort of druggie - I mean a real junkie with this stuff - I decided to quit cold turkey. That ended me in the hospital. I collapsed at work my first day off the stuff and vomited for 6 days straight. Had extreme agitation, anxiety and pure fear. This stuff almost killed me. Correction, smoking it turned me into a synthetic weed junkie. Quitting it almost killed me. Beware & be careful.

  13. Many people do not want to believe it but marijuana has more withdrawl effects than k2 incense or any kind of herbal incense. Think about "k2" is simply a synthetic version of marijuana when someone develops a synthetic version of a drug it is made to be less addictive marijuana in my opinion can be really addictive just based off of all of my experiences I have not even been slightly addicted to K2 and I have consumed many pounds and have tried probably over 100 different brands. For the guy that claims that he is a synthetic weed junkie that is stupid because of the fact that you were addicted to being high on anything that is because you smoked weed before you started smoking incense so all that did happen was that you got addicted to being high.

    1. Some lucky people have reported no withdrawals at all from fake bake, but those people are in the minority. There are many horror stories out there (hell, just read the horror stories here) of people that have had terrible withdrawals from fake bake. I speak from experience - I was a pot smoker for years, then quit. I also smoked fake bake for about a year then decided to quit. I had bad withdrawals that lasted for about 2-3 weeks - Sweats/chills, no appetite, couldn't sleep, had this horrible light headed disconnected feeling, couldn't hold on to a thought for more than a couple of seconds - it was hell. All I ever had getting off weed was a couple of days of not being able to sleep very well and some irritability. Fake bake is dangerous and anyone reading this who hasn't started doing it yet but thinking about it needs to stay far away from this stuff. Run, do not walk out of the head shop/gas station and leave this poison alone.

  14. I have attempted K2 and it was relaxed. Florida Precious metal was most likely the most 'weed-like' encounter I had. Voodoo Miraculous was a little bit considerably for me. I certainly enjoyed Moe Joe Fire. Texas Gold was my preferred. Super, super mellow, no right after outcomes and absolutely no hallucinations. A lot much better than consuming for leisure.
